Crescenza
Crescenza is stracchino cheese, shaped into larger pieces. It has no rind and is very soft and creamy. It is made with cow’s milk and comes in a rectangular shape. It is creamy, sweet and, surprisingly, low in fat. Crescenza can be eaten on its own, spread on bread and served with salami or fresh fruit. The mild, flavor also tastes good with fruit spreads and chutneys. It can be scooped onto warm polenta, used on pizza, or tossed with pasta.
